This app is a personal tasting diary. It was built to be simple and to stay out of your way, it does not collect data to sell, does not show ads, and does not use third-party analytics or advertising tools of any kind. This page explains exactly what data exists and where it goes.
The entries you log, drink names, ratings, notes, prices, distilleries, categories, and similar details, along with your settings and any custom categories, styles, or distilleries you add, are stored on your device.
If you're signed into iCloud, this same data syncs across your own devices using Apple's iCloud Key-Value Storage, tied to your Apple ID. This data is not sent to me, to any server I operate, or to any third party. It stays within Apple's iCloud system and is only accessible from your own signed-in devices.
The app includes a manual backup feature that lets you export your data to a file. This file is created on your device, and it's entirely up to you where you save it or whether you share it with anyone. The app itself does not transmit this file anywhere.
The one-time purchase to unlock full access is processed entirely by Apple through StoreKit. Payment details are handled by Apple directly only, the developer, or anyone else, never see or have access to your payment information.
If you choose to send feedback through the app's Feedback option, it opens your device's own email app addressed to my support email. Nothing is sent unless you choose to write and send that email yourself.
If anything about how this app handles data changes in the future, this page will be updated, and the "Last updated" date at the top will reflect that change.
